Toy Story 3 Doesn’t Dissappoint at the Box Office

It must be the summer for the animations.  First  Shrek Forever After ruled the box office this summer with several weeks at the top.  Now Toy Story 3 is set to top this weeks box office sales. .  Current projections for this weekend is over $100 million in box office sales for Toy Story 3. It made $41 million on its opening day, June 18th.   I have to say that I loved both of the two previous Toy Story stories and they did not dissappoint  It was a while since Toy Story(1995) and and Toy Story 2(1999) has been released.  Last fall Disney released a double feature of the Toy Story and Toy Story 2, which is a good move since a lot of young viewers were not familiar with the first two Toy Story movies; and those that are old enough to remember them may have forgotten a lot of the movies.   Hopefully it will not take as long to release Toy Story 4, because sequels are always a good idea when they are full of good ideas.

11 years between the release of Toy Story 3 and its predecessor makes me hopeful that there will be The Incredibles 2.   If you are reading Pixar, we are still waiting.
